If the Tri-Nations Started tomorrow, which All Black backs would take the field? It’s difficult to pick an All Blacks team considering the form of the current incumbents. In many cases it comes down to having to choose between experience and form. Halfback, for example, sees Alby Matthewson and Khan Fotuali’i showing the best form and the incumbents struggling. A balance needs to be met, but if a must-win test was being played tomorrow, Graham Henry is most likely to err on the side of experience.

Bulls Break Hoodoo, beat Chiefs in Hamilton

The Bulls have broken one of the few hoodoos left in Super Rugby by finally beating the Chiefs in New Zealand. Not only that, but they have done it in style, scoring an invaluable 4 try bonus point victory. The Chiefs come out of the game empty handed, without even a bonus point having lost 33 to 19.

Chiefs beat Highlanders in exciting but error-filled game

The Chiefs beat the Highlanders tonight in a game where they dominated possession but none of the set pieces. The game took place at Bay Park Stadium in Mt Mauganui. At half time the Highlanders were ahead of the Chiefs 15-10. However, the Chiefs went on to win 27 to 21.
