The Australian Wallabies have triumphed in the 2011 Tri-Nations tournament. In the end the difference was an away win against the Springboks, with both New Zealand and Australia winning their home games.

The Australian Rugby Union team have demolished a second-string South African Springbok team. Pushing aside their humiliating defeat against the Samoans a week earlier, the Wallabies have opened the 2011 Tri Nations with a resounding bonus point win.
