Already the only player to win the award twice, Richie McCaw has now won the IRB Player of the Year award three times, including in two consecutive years. It comes a few weeks after McCaw became the most capped All Black of all time along side Mils Muliana, and in a year where he also took the record for most All Black captaincies.

End of Year Tour Results – 27 November 2010
The final week rugby union internationals for 2010 ended with a clean sweep by Tri-Nations teams over their Northern opponents. Australia walloped France, South Africa beat England, and New Zealand secured their fourth ever grand slam with victory over Wales.
Other Southern Hemisphere sides did not fare as well, with Italy beating Fiji, Scotland narrowly defeating Samoa and Ireland punishing Argentina. Wales and All Black teams named for Millennium Stadium Test 2010
The Welsh and New Zealand teams have been named for the rugby union international at Millennium Stadium Test on the 27th of November, 2010.
This is the last test on the All Blacks’ end of year tour, and the only test standing in the way of their grand slam. If successful it will be their third grand slam since 2005, and their fourth in All Black history. Grand Slam Tour for the All Blacks Confirmed for 2010
The English Rugby Union, the RFU, have agreed to a date change, enabling New Zealand another attempt at a prestigious Grand Slam Tour. The All Blacks and England will now contest the Hillary Shield on December the 4th before playing Scotland on the November the 13th, Ireland on November the 20th and Wales on November the 27th.
