All Blacks, Springboks, Wallabies, Argentina, Samoa and Fiji played in Europe this weekend, with only the All Blacks and the Wallabies securing victories. New Zealand kept their hopes of a Grand Slam tour alive with victory over Ireland. However, South Africa’s Grand Slam dream came crashing down with a shock loss to Scotland. In another shocking result, Fiji and Wales drew their test. Ryan Jones was stripped of the Wales captaincy soon after.
