South Africa’s Springboks take on the Barbarians at Twickenham Stadium, London on Saturday the 4th of December 2010 at 14:30 local time. It is the last match of the Northern tours by Southern Hemisphere teams. The All Blacks, Wallabies, Argentina, Samoa and Fiji all finished their seasons last weekend. However, many of them have representation in the Barbarians team. The Barbarians will be coached by South African Nick Mallet.

The final week rugby union internationals for 2010 ended with a clean sweep by Tri-Nations teams over their Northern opponents. Australia walloped France, South Africa beat England, and New Zealand secured their fourth ever grand slam with victory over Wales.

Other Southern Hemisphere sides did not fare as well, with Italy beating Fiji, Scotland narrowly defeating Samoa and Ireland punishing Argentina. The Pacific Island teams of Fiji and Samoa may take some solace from how close they came, but unfortunately it was the story of their tours as they were unable to get an elusive…

Rugby picks and schedule for week four of the Northern tours by Southern Hemisphere teams. All Blacks, Springboks, Wallabies, Argentina, Samoa and Fiji play in Europe this weekend. Matches take place on Saturday the 27th of November around Europe. This is the last week test matches, although the Springboks take on the Barbarians at Twickenham Stadium next weekend. From the Southern Hemisphere teams, only New Zealand remain undefeated in Europe. However, they did lose the test against Australia in Hong Kong.

Results from week three of the Northern tours by Southern Hemisphere teams. All Blacks, Springboks, Wallabies, Argentina, Samoa and Fiji played in Europe this weekend, with only the All Blacks and the Wallabies securing victories. New Zealand kept their hopes of a Grand Slam tour alive with victory over Ireland. However, South Africa’s Grand Slam dream came crashing down with a shock loss to Scotland. In another shocking result, Fiji and Wales drew their test. Ryan Jones was stripped of the Wales captaincy soon after.
