The Springboks have named their team to take on the All Blacks at Wellington’s Cake Tin. It features a variety of injury forced changes following the thrashing against the Wallabies in the Tri Nations opener. Their loose forwards have been reshuffled, with Jean Deysel getting a start and Ashley Johnson moving to the bench. The Springboks had already left their top locks at home, but their locking depth has become further tested with the injury to Johann Muller. Gerhard Mostert will now make his test debut against veteran Ali Williams and one season All Black Sam Whitelock.
Patrick Lambie, who impressed off the bench last weekend gets to start at fullback due to an injury to Gio Aplon. Adi Jacobs and at centre with Juan de Jongh form a new centre combination.
