It’s like comparing All Black players from previous eras. Even the competition they compete in is a shadow of its former self. That Auckland side contained a plethora of All Black greats and would have dismantled most International teams of that time. This Canterbury team doesn’t contain anyone even close to it in its regular playing roster. As you rightfully point out, that says everything about the systems Canterbury has in place. I don’t know how they keep doing it.
